About Us

Mind Our Beeswax was founded in the 1980’s by Joann Bennett. In 1998, Theresa Kramer took over the business and worked with her husband and family for over twenty years before selling the business to her niece, Valerie Kramer.

Valerie lives in Green, Ohio with her family where she tends to her hobby farm, raises her kids, and runs her business. She has her bachelors degree in Organismal Biology and is married to Matt Lehnert, an entomologist and professor at Kent State University. Her passions in life revolve around creating art and protecting the planet. With the help of her family and friends, she intends to continue the tradition of making timeless beeswax ornaments and is excited to find new ways to bring beeswax into your life.
